POV: I Slide Past You At A Music Festival

I recently attended the One Fest Music Fest in Atlanta Georgia. It was the perfect time to come up with a stylish camo jacket outfit to wear. Although you can rock camo year round, it’s just something about adding it to my fall style. I blew the dust off my coveted piece (I thrifted and have had it for over 10 years!) and I combined it with a few other pieces I had laying around giving me the ultimate fun yet sexy and polish look to pull off for day one of the event. Camo Jacket Outfit? Another One

When it comes to putting together a look especially for an all day festival the top 3 things come to mind. Comfort, overall appearance, and functionality of the said outfit.

For this look I started with the shoes. Why? I knew I would be doing a lot of walking and standing so I needed a pair of kicks that would hold up. I took a chance and went with the Travis Scott Olive. They are extremely comfortable on a day to day basis, I assumed they would be ‘all day’ comfortable and I was right.

Now that the show was established, I wanted to play off of the colors. I also wanted to be sexy and do a more feminine look. I’ve had this t-shirt for over a year. In fact I found it at a black museum on a trip to Charlotte. It was so outrageous and dope it’s one I can always go to. I tried a t-shirt hack to give it a cropped look. At this point I knew the Camo Jacket would be the layering piece. Because it compliments the hues of the Travis Scott’s so well.

The only missing piece to the puzzle was the bottom. Initially I was going to go with a leopard print skirt, but it just wasn’t meshing with the overall flow of the look. I ended finding this cute satin skirt from Target for under $30.00. It worked perfectly. I threw in some black and white contrasting earrings, round black shades, and a fire red lip. I went with a mini crossbody bag solely because it was the only size bag permitted in the park and its highly functional to hold all necessities.

And babes, we had a look.

Needless to say, it turned heads, was comfortable, and the perfect camo jacket outfit fit for a music festival. Aside from a festival this is the perfect everyday look to run around in. Where would you wear this look?

Remember you don’t have this exact look this is solely for inspiration. I found my t-shirt on a whim while traveling. I would say go for a black and white graphic tee of choice to make this look work.
