Today let’s take a different approach to attire when going airborne by trying a street style airport outfit idea. I get it, when you think of ‘airport outfit’ you think plain Jane black or neutrals. Black sunglasses, baseball cap. Believe me I’m all for it. But today? Nah. We are going to keep it comfy, but very funky. We are going to take a legendary pair of camo cargo pants and repurpose them by mixing prints and texture. Giving a crazy cute yet comfy and functional airport look. Keep reading.

Which Type Are You?
When it comes to dressing for the airport, you’re 1 of 3 types of people.
A. Just don’t give a f***.
B. Comfy and chic.
C. Sexy, sexy (putting on lipstick in the bathroom mirror.. meow)
D. Airport day, but everywhere is a fashion runway.
Truthfully, I can admit I’m more in the B and D range depending on the occasion. However, for my most recent travels I went with option C and decided to wear my go to favorite camo print pants. BUT I wanted to do a little mixing and matching with prints because as soon as I got off that plane… my trip started without any breaks. I needed something comfortable enough for the plane ride but equally fashionable to hit the streets. And this look gave me the freedom to do just that.
What I Wore To The Airport
In addition to my camo print cargo pants, I went with a cropped t-shirt I found on amazon. I like it because it has a ‘u’ style hem which compliments the high waist pants perfectly. Because I was mixing prints I wanted to neutralize or tone the combo down with a pair of light colored shoes.
I went to my sneaker archive and grabbed my Yeezy 500 ‘Bone White’ (2019 version) not only are these out of the ordinary they are extremely comfortable. Comfy shoes is a must when traveling and these are also catchy enough to wear to a bar if needed. The airport is alway cold, and my destination was also due to be chilly. So instead of a jacket I went with a fun print oversized cardigan. A neutral bag to bounce of the shoes with gold accessories and nude glasses made this the perfect look.
Needless to say the outfit was a hit with bypassing airport attendees and it was perfect for a night out with friends. The next time you’re heading to the airport, skip the shades and baseball cap and try this fun airport outfit idea.
