On my latest visit, I decided to break away from my usual go-to favorites and dive into some of the new (to me) and delish additions to their menu. From bold flavor fusions to unexpected textures, these dishes were nothing short of a revelation. Let’s explore the bites that left me swooning and ready for seconds!
Frui-Tea Fizz
Becoming a part of the mocktail gang can be quite challenging at times. However, Hawker’s makes this a no brainer. They offer a full booze-free menu complete with a matcha lychee lemonade and Thai iced tea. Instead of going with a regular smegular soda or water, I decided to live a little and gave the Frui-Tea Fizz a whirl.
A fizzy, refreshing drink that perfectly balances fruity sweetness and zesty tang. This sparkling concoction is infused with dragonfruit, green tea, lemon, Fever-Tree ginger beer, basil seeds. It’s a must-try for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience with a fun, bubbly twist!
Seoul Hot Chicken Baos
The Seoul Hot Chicken Baos at Hawker’s Asian Street Food are a fiery fusion of Korean and Asian street food flavors. These babies are served in a soft, pillowy bao bun. Then there is a 24-hour brined chicken thigh, deep-fried and sauced in garlic gochujang. YUMMY. As if that wasn’t enough it’s topped with spicy house made pickles. Each bite delivers a satisfying contrast of textures and flavors—spicy, tangy, and slightly sweet—making them a must-try for fans of bold and adventurous eats. Perfect as a shareable starter or a standout main dish, these baos bring the heat in the best way possible!
Chili Crisp Cucumbers
Imagine crisp, refreshing cucumber slices tossed in a zesty chili crisp sauce that’s equal parts spicy, savory, and addictive.
