There’s something about the words “new brunch spot” that makes my heart (and stomach) perk up. So when I heard about Madame Brioche, a freshly opened breakfast haven promising Parisian flair and modern bites, I had to see what the hype was about. Walking in, I was immediately drawn to the soft neutral palette, chic lighting, and pastry-case perfection — the kind of place that makes you want to linger over your latte and pretend you’re on a weekday off in France.

But let’s be real — cute only gets you so far. While the plates looked straight out of a Pinterest board, the service felt a little “in and out, thanks” for my taste. Still, there’s something about this place that makes you want to come back, maybe just to sit pretty with a cappuccino and pretend life’s a little softer. Either way, grab your latte and let’s chat about what Madame Brioche got right… and what could use a little extra butter.
The Vibe & Aesthetic
Let’s start with the obvious: Madame Brioche is a looker. From the moment you walk in, it’s giving “clean girl brunch with a French twist.” Think creamy beige walls, gold accents, soft jazz playing low, and pastries displayed like they’re auditioning for Vogue. It’s the kind of place where you instantly pull out your phone — not because you’re being that girl, but because it’s that cute.

There’s an ease to the space — modern but cozy, bright without being blinding. Every table felt intentionally styled, from the dainty ceramic mugs to the minimal tableware that makes you feel like you’re in on a secret aesthetic club. You could honestly sit here solo with your laptop and a croissant or bring the girls for a bougie catch-up brunch and it fits both moods perfectly.
The only thing missing? A little warmth — and I don’t mean the lighting. The staff kept things quick and to the point, which isn’t necessarily bad, but in a place this inviting, I was hoping for service that matched the charm.
The Food
Now let’s talk about the main event — the food. I decided to dive into the savory side of the menu and went straight for the smoked salmon croissant. It came stacked with smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, capers, cucumber, a poached egg, arugula, and their signature hollandaise sauce. Visually? She was stunning. Like, pull-out-your-phone-before-the-first-bite stunning. But once I actually dug in, the flavor didn’t quite match the presentation. The salmon was surprisingly mild, almost flavorless, missing that rich smoky kick I was hoping for. And the egg? Overcooked. I’m a firm believer that the yolk should runneth, not sit there like a prop. Everything else was right — great ingredients, beautiful plating — but a little salt, pepper, or even a sprinkle of seasoning magic could’ve taken it from pretty to perfect.

To sip, I went with the ube matcha. I could tell they used quality ingredients, which I appreciate, but the flavor combo didn’t quite land. The matcha had zero sweetness, and the ube didn’t blend in enough to balance it out. Together, it leaned a little harsh — the kind of drink you want to love but can’t quite finish. Honestly, it would be nice if the drink came with a sweetness level option at no extra charge. The ube itself doesn’t naturally carry sweetness, so giving customers the chance to customize it could make all the difference.
Now, where Madame Brioche absolutely redeems herself is in the pastry department. I tried the pistachio and strawberry croissant, and let me tell you — heaven. The croissants are clearly made with love, flaky on the outside, soft and buttery within. That pistachio cream? I could eat it straight out of a tub with a spoon and have zero regrets.

Final Thoughts
So, would I go back? Honestly, yeah — but with a game plan. Madame Brioche is that brunch spot you visit when you want to feel put together and sip something cute in a pretty space. The aesthetic alone makes it worth a visit, and those pastries? Easily the star of the show. I’m already dreaming about that pistachio croissant like it’s an old fling I can’t quite let go of.
That said, the savory dishes could use a little more love in the flavor department, and the drinks could benefit from small tweaks like offering a sweetness option. Nothing major, just details that would take it from “cute café” to “add this to your regular rotation.”
Overall, Madame Brioche is still finding her rhythm — she’s beautiful, she’s got potential, and with a few adjustments, she could easily become the brunch spot everyone’s raving about. Until then, I’ll be back for a latte, a pastry (or three), and maybe another chance for that smoked salmon to redeem itself.
