Looking for ways to style your pieces? You’ve found the article. Excited? You should be, because I am. Keep reading for the spill, let’s go!
Here’s What I Got From The Future Collective Target Collection
Keep in mind this is the first of two drops that will be coming from this edition of the Future Collective Target line. Featuring chic patterns, linen, and gold hardwear. Unlike most people I was not a huge fan of every piece. But the pieces that caught my eye, I hopped on immediately. When adding pieces to my closet especially for the warmer months I’m considering functionality, weight of material, and overall style. For some reason, during the warmer months I fall into a feminine space of light fabrics, whites, and dresses. I kept suit when picking out what I wanted. With all that being said…
Here are the pieces I chose and why.
- Denim Dress – If I had to choose a favorite fabric, it would hands down be denim. I currently lack a denim maxi dress as a staple piece in my wardrobe. So when I saw this one, I figured it would be perfect. The color, style, and gold hardware immediately caught my attention. I can easily see this as being a piece for many months and seasons to come.
- Striped corset dress – I will be honest, the internet sold me on this piece. During the warmer months I don’t care for darker tones. So the black piece everyone is raving about didn’t catch my attention. However, the cream and grey option shifted from ‘hmm maybe’ to a burning desire of it being a must. The overall style, fit, and shape made this an instant hit for me.
- Floral Print Maxi Dress – This is just my opinion, but every lady needs a wow dress. This is that dress. The bright red immediately caught my attention, the soft ruffles and chiffon texture made this high on my list of things to have. Plus, this dress can easily be converted from a high fashion look to an everyday run around look paired with sneakers.
Women’s Corset Mini Dress – Future Collective™ with Jenee Naylor
This was the final piece that I added to my wardrobe from this collection. It also happens to be my favorite. Truth be told this one almost didn’t happen because it was sold out online. This probably worked out for the better simply because the reviews were saying to size down. I was able to locate it at a local store and luckily they had both size 6 and 4.
I am hands down a size 6 on any given day. But based on the reviews I went with the 4. Girl! it fit like an absolute glove. The quality is amazing and light because it’s linen. The cups make this piece bra-less worthy. Just cute, fun, and feminine.
This piece is hands down the perfect everyday elevated casual ensemble. Here are easy two ways I styled the look.

Women’s Ruffle Ankle Length Dress – Future Collective™ with Jenee Naylor
This little number is that piece I feel every girl should have hanging in the closet. It’s classic and soft and screams feminine. The spaghetti straps and ruffles make this style dress the perfect piece to dress up or down. I did go with the red option simply because red is one of my favorite colors and it simply pops.
I purchased this one in a small and it fits loose but appropriately, I would have to say this is true to size. It is maxi length and hosts a split on the side. So pretty and just the perfect piece to flaunt around in comfortably.
I chose to wear her with a pair of cowboy boots and a crossbody bag giving you a simple everyday look idea.
To dress this one up I went with a pair of contrasting leopard print heels and a chunky chain link necklace. I finished the look off with a cage styled clutch.

Women’s Sleeveless Denim Button-Front Midi Dress – Future Collective™ with Jenee Naylor Medium Wash
Last but of course not least, I grabbed the denim maxi dress. If I had to choose a ‘favorite’ fabric it could easily be denim. With that being said, quite naturally I was drawn to this piece. The peculiar cut, color, quality, and hardware is just mouth dropping. Especially for the $45.00 price tag. I went with my true size 6, it fit well overall.
However, the top button is where it gets tricky. I think a little more material could’ve been put in the area. Granted, I’m smaller in the chest area and although it buttons, it bunches and doesn’t close well. This is not a major issue for me because i’m a top button open kind of girl. Bustier girls, this could be an issue.
There is just something sensational about a good denim maxi dress, I was in need of one; so this was came right on time. You will have to stay tuned for other ways I plan on rocking this one. But for today we took the sneaker route for this look. Here’s how it went.

Wrapping It Up: Future Collective Target x Jenee Naylor
A few last minute notes I want to make about this collection. The overall quality is amazing especially for the price point. Jenee designed these pieces with a woman’s body in mind. With all of these dresses the mid-section is concealed. I talk more about this in a video I did for Youtube. If you want to go further into this review and see the pieces in action I think you would enjoy it. Are you subscribed to my channel? If not, you’re missing out on a lot *winks twice*.
Anyway babes, this article has been a sincere pleasure and styling these pieces were fun. Did you grab any items? If so which ones? How are you wearing your picks? Talk to me in the comment section.
