Brew Five Points is the quirky spot to sip a cup of joe giving all the cool kid vibes, but the best part? They serve brunch daily. Truth is, this is my second time in the building. My first go round was in the name of an after hours pop-up dinner hosted by Feed The Ville. During that experience it dawned on me I never knew this place existed. But based on the aesthetic and quirkiness, it screamed my type of place.

I immediately added this to the list as a place to visit for a good brunch and cup of joe. I made good on my personal promise to pop in and made my way to Brew. To find out what is was like, the service, and if the food is worth it, keep reading.
Brunch At Brew
Brew Five Points is located at 1024 Park St, Jacksonville, FL 32204. They are opened daily from 7:30am – 4:30pm. They aren’t your average coffee house serving croissants and muffins. Although they do serve these things, the highlight of this spot is a full breakfast and brunch menu everyday, all day. The slogan is “Not Bad” and after my time here, I couldn’t agree more.

With options like breakfast toast, sammies, and grit cakes, not only is everything named something cool, ‘forever in blue jeans toast’ and ‘basic bitch toast’ the presentation is a-1. The decor gives small diner, but has the coolest display of art, mild colors, and plants. It literally makes my heart sing being here. The planning and execution of this establishment is spot on and perfect.
Brew five points is a fast casual dining experience, you order up front and get a number. Shortly after your food is delivered to your table with a smile. The service is extremely friendly and fast.
What I Tried At Brew
I came hungry so I knew I wanted a full meal, I went with the Chorizo Corn Cakes roasted sweet potatoes, chorizo, pickled red onions, cilantro, chile sauce, “queso”, on griddled corn cakes with an egg your way. I did my egg sunny side up, solely because I could picture the egg yolk running over the top of this magical concoction.
For my brew I went with a latte, hot, made with oat milk, and salted caramel.
The grit cakes were simply delicious. If I had one quarrel I would say I would’ve like the grit cake to have either a little sweetness to it or season in general. However, I can see why they would be served plain. The flavor from the rest of the dish is literally soaked into the cakes. Giving it a delicious balance with a kick of heat. Just as I suspected, the yolk from the egg complimented the dish. This combo of flavors made love in my mouth. I was extremely pleased. (9 /10)

The latte looked like a photo prop, the foam was perfect with a leaf decorated in it. The mix of beans they are using is rich and although the salted caramel was not my absolute favorite flavor, I would easily give it another go. BUT I would try a different option next go round.
Overall I would have to say “Not Bad”
Would I Go Back To Brew Five Points?
I honorably would like to mention their breakfast tacos. My mother, was my date and went with the OG breakfast taco, bacon, chimi fried egg, white cheddar, avocado, pickled red onion, cholula. She went with the iced matcha, initially it wasn’t sweetened to her liking but they quickly made corrections and she downed it. lol
Needless to say there will be a next go round. I would like to dive into there freshly made pastries. They had a luscious cherry jam cake slices on display as well as cute cookies, and sweet kolache. If I wasn’t so full from my meal I would have easily snatched one to go.
Overall Brew Five Points is an ‘it spot’ to try. I highly recommend giving this spot go, the best part? You don’t have to wait to wait until Sunday to brunch. Should you go, let me know what you think.
