I recently rocked a matching tweed jacket and trouser set, but instead of going all prim and proper, I paired it with sneakers—and let me tell you, it was a vibe. Not just any sneakers—a crisp, clean Nike Dunk Notre that brought the whole look from “fancy luncheon” to “I can hang at brunch or a street style showdown.” Tweed and sneakers might sound like an odd couple, but trust me, they’re a match made in fashion heaven.

• Tweed Jacket and Trouser set: The matching set is the star of the show. I found this set recently at Marshall’s and for the price (under $75) and look I couldn’t leave her hanging. Instead of wearing a top I elected to sauce the jacket as a button down shirt. It gives, “I’ve got places to be, but I’m not in a rush.”
• Sneakers: A coordinating pair of dunks were my weapon of choice. I recently did a video about getting into these pair more, and here we are.
• Accessories: I went with pearls and tried a hairstyle i’d been obsessing over on Pinterest of heavy hair clips and pins. For a bag, I kept it simple with a off white mini hobo bag, I found locally.

It’s like getting the best of both worlds. The tweed makes it clear I didn’t just roll out of bed, and the sneakers add that “Yeah, I’m laid-back but still killing it” energy. It’s perfect for those days when you need to feel put-together without sacrificing an ounce of comfort or style.
