A Look At The Nike Dunk Low Cacao Wow

Fall is knocking at our door and I couldn’t be more excited. You know the drill cooler weather, pumpkin spice everything and Halloween decor. Nike as always got the memo, they know the gworls need a shift from the wild and crazy color ways to earth tones. In response they dropped the Nike Dunk Low Cacao Wow.

From the vintage aged sole to the dark chocolate brown mixed with cream, these kicks scream Hello Fall! Today, we will review a pair, talk about price points, and if they are worth the after market cop. Keep reading.

Cacao Wow, Love At First Sight.

Fun fact, at one point in time aside from my Louis Vuitton bags I didn’t own a stitch of brown clothing or shoes. I didn’t care for the color overall but one day I saw the light and went brown crazy. You can also check out how I styled a pair of Panda’s here. Truthfully the dunk low is my most sought after shoe. Why? They are comfortable, dope, and come in mad crazy color schemes. So for Nike to drop and brown and cream pair of dunks. It was a complete no brainer for me.

I was browsing for a pair of brown sneakers in general and the Cacao Wow popped up. My eyes literally went into heart eye emoji mode and I put them on my Pinterest board. When I want something I obsess over it, looking at it over and over again until I take the plunge and hit ‘checkout’ on my shopping cart. This cop was no different.

The brown screams Fall and the beige contrasting tones don’t argue. This is the perfect shoe for the season and beyond. The retail price on these were $110.00 The current aftermarket price ranges from $140- 190.00. Averaging at $145.00 for most women’s sizes. I would gladly say this is totally worth the purchase. Especially if you’re a sneaker girl or want to look cool like you are one.

As far as myself, you have got to check back for outfit inspiration. Because these will be being worn… a lot.

Opening The Nike Dunk Low Cacao Wow.

I purchased these after market from GOAT. Although people are hyped about Stock X, Goat is my personal preferred aftermarket choice. They usually have a week turn around from payment to door, are authenticated, and have the lowest prices. Of course, anytime you’re considering purchasing an aftermarket cop, always do your research to decide which platform is best for you. I shop around to get the best deal. I highly advise you do the same.

The Nike Women’s Dunk Low ‘Cacao Wow’ features smooth leather on the upper, featuring a white base with chocolate brown overlays and a color-matched Swoosh. Traditional Nike branding appears on the tongue tag, back tab and sockliner. A vintage off-white finish is applied to the midsole, fitted with an interior foam wedge and reinforced by a durable brown rubber outsole.

Like any average dunk, these came in the standard red and white box with the retro ‘Nike’ and swoosh logo on top. The actual name of the shoe is the Womens Nike Dunk Low ‘Sail/ Cacao Wow – Coconut Milk. The nick name is Cacao Wow. They are based on Women’s sizing. Ladies, with this shoe you do not need to get out a size conversion chart. Buy your normal size. They do fit true to size. I went with my standard size 8. These only came with a brown pair of laces, of course if you want to switch that up you can buy your own laces.
