The crazy Florida weather had taken a shift toward the cooler side. I decided to whip out a new Skims dress I’d recently gotten and been itching to wear. I decided to dress the skims dress down by pairing it with the New Balance 574 Yurt and an old pair of Gucci socks. I’ve worn both of these at least 5 times, and 1 other time together. Proving hefty quality buys are worth it. For my bag my classic Speedy 25 handbag. 11 years by my side it still is a perfect on the go style.

I was concluding a delicious lunch with my favorite gal pal for our weekly meet and greet lunch. This week’s lunch choice Taverna, a modern upscale Italian spot located in San Marco, Jacksonville.
We laughed, we ate, we got drunk. I realized our time was coming to an end. I tried getting shots in the restaurant and they just weren’t ‘it’. She’s a great sport and friend who sincerely understands the importance of getting ‘the shot’. The photos were cool, but something was missing.
I decided to just make do with the pictures we’d taken and was going to hit the little girls room before we made an exit. Looking around, I noticed the hallway leading the restroom… perfectly lit, neutral in color and aesthetic making it the perfect backdrop for photos.
Skims Dress, It’s a Yes.
Truthfully this is my first piece from the Skims line by Kim Kardashian. I never bought anything because 1 I miss the drops all the time, no I am not on the email list. 2 they never have my size. However, I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. The material is soft yet high quality. It fits like a glove. After this experience this won’t be my last piece from the brand. Skims knows a woman’s body. I totally understand the hype.
