All Whatever Leather Weather

I’m going to keep today short and to the point. The topic is pulling off an all leather outfit. This is a look where you put on all leather (or whatever leather, i’ll explain) on in one setting.

Obviously this should only be pulled off during a colder day but to each her own lol. I recently had the chance to this all black edgy look and I want to show you how you can too. Keep reading!

The All Leather Outfit Explained

The weather had dropped below 40 degrees, and an outfit I anticipated just wasn’t going to work with the cool front. I went to my archive and grabbed a faux leather button up that still had the tag attached. Since it was cold, instead of a coat to take away from the look I elected to do a long sleeved shirt underneath. For the bottoms I went with a real leather pair of shorts I’ve had for nearly 2 years. I’ve been dying to test out my Zara Gaiter boots and this was the perfect look to do so.

*side note: the boots were highly functional and they did not hurt toward the end of the night. Aside from a little tussle getting them off, I highly recommend grabbing these if you haven’t already.

I’m at a space where I prefer to keep my accessories to a minimum, in the case of the all leather outfit I let the pieces speak for themselves and went with a statement earrings and minimal rings. I wanted to create texture somewhere with the look, so I went with a woven bag I found on Amazon. And there have it ladies and gents, an all leather outfit. When you match the pieces right and go for quality, you sincerely can’t tell which is which in regards to faux or genuine.

Do It Yourself

Recreating this look is very easy. Get an oversized leather or faux leather shirt. My advice, spend a decent amount of time on finding this piece because this is what will standout the most. I linked a very comparable one but look for one that is less shiny. It gives ‘real leather’. Next, get a pair of leather or faux leather shorts of choice. I went with a pair that was more mid thigh. Not too short but long enough to show just under the shirt. And your favorite pair of fold over boots . This look gives for a chic but serious street style look for you to step out in.

A little bit of real, a little bit of faux, but when you do it right they’ll never know.
