True story, distressed denim jeans saved my life. Okay, I’m being dramatic but they saved the night from a wild wardrobe mishap. I’ve been obsessed with transitional Summer To Fall Outfits, these looks are perfect for in between cold and warm days. I ended up using this strategy to come up with the perfect outfit for dinner in about 45 minutes flat. Yikes.

When In Doubt, Get The Denim Out.
I had a very important dinner date planned. However, my ‘planned’ outfit had been ordered expedited mail and never arrived. I was left with not many options outside of what was in my closet. But I had a cute pair of jeans and a sexy top. The perfect combo for a warm fall evening (i’m in Florida, this is normal lol). I went to my fall/winter archive and grabbed a fave pair of boots and we were in there!
One of the easiest ways to come up with a well put together look is to take a fave pair of jeans and pair it with a fancy top. In today’s case, I went with a satin cowl neck corset style top I got from H&M nearly a year ago and never wore. I was really feeling a pair of distressed jeans I’ve had around for a while. They are high waisted and fit like a glove. You know, that one pair every babe should have. I tried something totally out of the ordinary for myself and slapped on a pair of thigh high boots… with the distressed jeans. Typically I would have never worn this combo together, but it worked. Especially when I sat down, my knees were exposed. Giving this look an edgy but still sexy appearance.
For accessories I kept playing around with the soft neutrals of my top and boot and when with an off white handbag. And topped everything off with my go to gold accessories.
Not only was this look done effortlessly, its was comfortable, sexy, and perfect for my Omakase course date night.
