If you’re ever looking for delicious, affordable food especially breakfast, Grumpy’s is a great choice. With several locations around town it’s hard to say this place is not convenient to visit. Truthfully, I had visited Grumpy’s nearly 2 years ago and wasn’t thoroughly impressed.
However, they continuously have been awarded year after year (since 2018) for the best breakfast spot and others rave about it. I figured I would give this spot a second spin just to see what the hype was about…again. I recently visited for Sunday breakfast and tried a few items and of course i’m going to share them with you.

Both of my visit’s were at the St John’s Florida location. Inside is modern very nice, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The service is great and our meals came out hare speed.
Everything I Ordered From Grumpy’s
I want note they offer a full kid’s meal. I love when places consider the little babes. It makes it easier to order with a little one, especially when they are a picky eater. They have combinations for any appetite.
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (Topped With Hot Cinnamon Roll Center, Icing, Walnuts and Powdered Sugar)- this thing was HUGE, it can easily be shared with two people. It was just… perfect. (9/10)
Scrambled eggs – 7/10
Bacon 9/10
Kids breakfast (grits, eggs, bacon, and toast) – 7/10
Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (the real thing, literally oranges squeezed lol) 8.5/10
Another note, the prices. For this to be a sit down spot it’s extremely affordable. I spent a grand total of 28.00 before a tip. This was totally worth the value of the meal. Everything was delicious and the second time was hands down better than the first. Grumpy’s is now a part of my breakfast club recommendations around town.
