Let’s Style A Leopard Print Skirt, A Closet Staple You Didn’t Know You Needed.

Today’s topic, the leopard print skirt. Let me start by attesting that leopard is one of my favorite prints… shoes, bags, pants, you name it. In the case of a leopard print skirt, it’s a true closet staple and classic. It’s a piece every girl should own.
Not only is it fun, its extremely versatile making it easy to style. From work to the grocery store. This piece is suitable for any occasion. Today we are going to work 1 skirt, 4 different ways. Keep reading Baddie, class is in session.

Let’s Style: A Leopard Print Skirt
Believe it or not I snagged this skirt from Amazon! That’s right. Priced for under 30.00, the skirt’s quality is exceptional. It features an elastic waist and is the ideal length which is just at the calves. I like that it’s loose in the stomach area because it hides any stomach faux pas, especially on a bloated day 🙃. The material is satin making it a perfect transitional piece to go from sexy to street.

#1 Running Errands
Outfit: Sneakers and a Tee
Is it just me or am the only one somewhere between the “I don’t care” but “wanna look cute” phase? I am a fan of being effortlessly sexy. If this is where you are style wise, this is the perfect look to run an errand or two.
Take your leopard print skirt and pair it with a basic cropped t-shirt. To add a little layering throw on an oversized denim jacket and roll the sleeves. To give this look more of a “laid back” feel add a baseball cap. A larger hobo bag is perfect especially having enough room to keep up with papers and other articles you may need to carry throughout your day.
To finish off this look, grab a pair of you favorite kicks. I chose one of my faves, filthy white Chuck Taylor All Stars. I don’t feel mine are dirty enough, but that’s another topic.
Bonus Styling Tip – Try doing this look with a leather jacket.
Why This Look Works
It’s the perfect look because not only is it sexy, it’s comfy. This look is effortless but appears that effort was put into it. If that makes sense. Sometimes running errands can be a lot, at least have style on your side.

#2 To The Office
Outfit: Mock Neck Top and Boots
We are knocking on Fall’s door, this skirt easily transitions from Summer to Autumn. Pair your skirt with a form fitting mock neck (or turtleneck) top, it should be tucked in. Finish the look with your favorite pair of thigh high boots and oversized handbag.
Hair Tips – For this look I slicked my hair back in a natural bun. However, any hairstyle will work.. Try a fun updo and swap out simple stud earrings for a dramatic chandelier earring if you want more flair.

It’s sexy yet totally workplace appropriate. This look is sure to turn a few heads. Even though you are wearing heels, make sure your choice of thigh high boots are comfy. Whatever the height of the heel make it work for YOU. Walk in the office with confidence. Have your coworkers like oooh “who’s THAT girl!?”

#3 Girls Night Out
Outfit: Oversized Tee, Heels, Clutch
Take your favorite oversized graphic tee and pair it with your skirt. Whatever shirt you choose, pick a color in the shirt that stands out to you. Find matching earrings and shoes. No matter how wild the shirt, the earrings and shoes tone it done, and the look looks tailored and well thought out. Since the occasion is for an evening out, a clutch best suits this look.
In this case, red stood out to me so I brought it out with these crazy earrings I found on Etsy some months back and a pair or red single strap heels.
Our Little Secret My oversized t-shirt is actually a t-shirt dress from Urban Outfitters. However, it serves as the perfect oversized blouse. Simply take a hair tie or rubber band, secure one side like a ponytail and tuck the knot in under the shirt. You can make it as tight or loose as you want. For this look I kept it loose.
Why This Look Works
Not only is this look classy and comfortable… its chic enough for an evening with friends. Hello dinner, cocktails, and lounging. If you’re going clubbing the next look is a little more suited to that category.

#4 Date Night
Outfit: Corset Top and Heels
For this look let’s ooze sex appeal. Tastefully. A bustier/ corset style top is the perfect way to do it. Pair it with matching heels and mini bag. The leather jacket is perfect for a fall evening when temperatures drop. But when inside, take it OFF honey.
Why This Look Works
This look is sexy yet classy. The bustier screams sexy but still gives off the vibe you’re a sophisticated woman. It works because if you show up to a date… your company will be visually pleased. 😉
