If you’ve been in survival mode, here’s my tip: start with isolation.

I can offer this advice, because I’m currently in the space. Isolation is shifting my life drastically, and I feel the urge to share. It actually wasn’t anything I planned for, there was me and an intense desire pulling me toward switching it up from always being on the go, hitting up events, and giving random people my energy. I felt the need to get still and be alone. This urge began toward the end of 2024. However, It was a combo of filming an interview for a friend and a girl’s night out in the same day that catapulted me into it.

I decided to pull the plug on society and go into my own bunker.
I’ve been voluntarily staying home, spending quality time with my daughter, and intentionally passing on a multitude of cool events that have been circulating around town. When you go into self and a place of quiet your frequency changes. You find yourself caring about less in the world and more about what matters. Self love, spiritually, your mental well being, health, and just making yourself whole all together. You detach yourself from material things and lean more into what actually matters. For everyone “what actually matters” is different.

Your frequency shifts to God’s radio and you start to get clarity with the direction to take to reach your heart’s desires. Things align and begin to flow with ease. They say it takes 4-6 weeks of uncomfortable isolation to create a new vision for yourself and life. At this point it’s been about 8 weeks; and man, what a shift.
Of course many things i’m experiencing is between God and I. However, I want to share a few things I’ve come up with.
- I’ve decided I’m no longer voluntarily operating my life in survival mode. And yes, living in survival mode is completely voluntary. I’ve chosen to unsubscribe. Since flipping that switch off, I initially experienced extreme fatigue. It turns out this is normal, whereas the body is catching up on rest from all of the trauma it’s been put through.
- I’ve been enjoying sitting with myself and being tf quiet. This practice changes your frequency from the world around you, when you’re really in tune you can feel and hear God speak to you
- I’m fully leaning into God and my spirit to guide me from here on out. When you operate from this manual you have no worries, threats, or a care in the world. You have confidence and KNOW everything is going to work out. This is true faith and trusting the process.
After weeks of being in this mode several ah-ha moments have unlocked. My energy is coming back and so many changes have taken place toward my personal growth. Truthfully you’ve got to go into the quiet and dark to grown. Growing happens in solitude. Think about a planted seed, the most vital part of it’s life is carried out in the dark, isolated, and quiet. We as humans are no different.

But then, you realize you haven’t been outside or around friends. Isolation is isolation after all. Today, I decided to get fresh and meet up with a friend for an afternoon matcha at a beautiful rooftop spot in town. The sun was shining, the air was crisp, and the energetic conversation is what my soul needed. The journey continues..
