I’ll always say to achieve this look and pull it off effortlessly yet classy, make sure the material is 100% cotton. You can get the cheapest of the cheap tops but cotton just gives it a polished look.

In the case of this look I found this oversized shirt on Shein. I followed my own above advise and found this 100% cotton frock quite easily. To my delight this button down also has buttons down the back. I instantly knew it would be a great fit and could be worn with multiple looks.

Seriously This shirt can be worn so many ways. With jeans, with shorts, with a skirt, open and on top of a swim suit. The possibilities are endless. A oversized button down shirt is 100% a closet staple that every girl should have.

Styling The Button Down Top

I styled the top with the perfect fitting light wash jeans I snagged from Boohoo. They have a split hem which I love especially when wearing heels. I lucked up and found a pair of chic leopard print strap block heals from Boohoo. For this look, went a little heavy on the accessories by choosing some thick gold hoops I found at Target for less than $10.00, my go-to Vibeszn “Ash”, “Horoscope”, and Buddha pendant necklaces.

Target also saved the day with a few gold rings. The shirt is really oversized so I simply tucked the front portion in. I opened the back buttons allowing the back of the garment to fall effortlessly exposing just enough booty. For my bag I went with my recently purchased Jumbo Gucci GG Pouch.

I felt a strong desire to wear a bright read lip, so I wore “Haute Mess” from The Lip Bar, found at Target. Gosh, I love Target.
