When it comes to all an black outfit idea, this is not as simple as it sounds. There are so many directions ‘all black’ go. Truthfully, I came up with this look last minute. Reason being, I was heading out to an sneaker art gallery and needed to incorporate sneakers, respectfully. I wanted to wear something highly fashionable while maintaining sex appeal. An all black look is always going to win in this category. Here’s a simple yet chic outfit I wore and you can easily recreate it.

The Sneaker Head Who’s Over Sneakers, Yikes.
It’s no secret I’m a low key sneaker head. But to be quite honest I’m getting out of my wild and crazy sneaker days. Instead, I have been opting for more simple, vintage, and grandpa looking sneakers. With that being said, I decided to go designer for this look. I went with a pair of Rick Owens, but we will get into that shortly. Now that my shoes had been decided, I knew which direction I wanted to take my all black outfit idea.
All Black Outfit Idea Break Down: Jeans, Designer Sneakers, and A Corset Top
For this look I went with a throwback pair of black split hem jeans I scored from pretty little thing. I bought them petite to accommodate my small stature, and they fit my body ridiculously comfy. It’s safe to say these are hands down a top five of jeans on my roster. Over time they have developed a slight fade, they are perfect.
For my top, this is a newbie I purchased over a year ago and never pulled the trigger on wearing it. It’s a super sexy corset top I found on a website I stumbled across, Meshki. The back fastens like a bra and it is mostly mesh. Very sexy, but still conservative enough to where I wasn’t over exposing myself. (Expect to see this one again)
Let’s get back to the sneakers that were the deciding factor for this look all together. I was heading to a sneaker art show, I needed to wear a sneaker after all. My choice, my beloved Rick Owens Drkshdw. These are one of my favorite designer sneakers, not only do they look extremely chic and put together they are mad comfortable.
Accessories
I accessorized with another newbie, A pair of Prada shades I bought on impulse and never wore. (looks away in shame) they too have been sitting in my collection for over a year. I don’t know why I decided to whip them out this particular night, but I’m glad I did. The details of teal and purple brought a little razzle dazzle to this look. And let’s just admit, they are cool as heck.
To finish the look off, I went with a rounded bag I found on amazon. I kept jewelry to a complete bare minimum and went with a pair of studs. For a scent I went with the Byredo Bal d’Afrique. That stuff is heavenly and sure to leave a mark on any who comes in contact with you.
Wrapping Things Up: All Black Outfit Idea
Overall from the many looks I got, it’s safe to say this look was a success. It was chic and turned heads. But most importantly I felt comfortable and confident in my outfit choice. I always say, wear whatever you want but feel comfortable do it.
The art show was also a success, it was part 2 of the The Petite art gallery series to be hosted Downtown. The first installation was ‘Wicked Out’. Check out my article on it.
