When it comes to the Nike Dunk Low St John’s, I’ve been eyeing these babies for nearly two years. I want to emphasize on the ‘eye’ part heavily, because for some reason the price tag for these babes have been over $400.00 for a while. Although I love a Dunk, I was not eager to pay that for these.
Somehow the Nike Gods heard my silent prayer (me being totally delusional), and these were recently restocked. A restock means price reduction, and for a sneaker consumer like myself it’s the green light to click ‘Checkout’. Well ladies and gentleman, I have received them and relishing in my purchase. Let’s talk about it shall we?

St John’s Dunks… Finally
One of my favorite style of sneakers is hands down the Nike Dunk Low. Reason being the slimmer profile can easily be converted into any style of clothing AND the color way options are insane. So when I first laid eyes on the Red and White St John’s color way they were an instant must have. I just love read as an accent color. These shoes are bold and stand out. Just a crispy pair of shoes to have in one’s arsenal. However, the price tag had been at $400 plus in my size and seemed to spike and never drop below that price point.
Every time I considered them, I’d stare looking at the screen with my hand behind my neck liiiike eehhh. lol. Anyway, one day looking at another pair of sneakers on GOAT, the Nike Dunk Low St John’s popped up on my screen as a fresh drop. Hol’ up what?? Sure enough they restocked and dropped 9/9/23 and the price was under $170.00 after market! I immediately pressed play on checking out and here they are.
Unboxing The Nike Dunk Low St John’s
The Nike Dunk Low Retro SP ‘St. John’s’ celebrates the silhouette’s 35th anniversary with a two-tone color scheme inspired by the original Be True to Your School series from 1985. This pair is essentially a low-top reworking of the Dunk made for the St. John’s University men’s basketball team. The all-leather upper combines a white base with red overlays and a matching red Swoosh. Nike branding hits appear on the woven tongue tag, sockliner and heel tab.

They came in the standard red and white box. Like most dunks, these came laced with the main accent color in this case red, and had a clear package of white laces. Personally I’m a fan of the red on red, I don’t see the need in changing out to white. I must say, even those these are a restocked and the original drop, I am extremely happy with my cop and can’t wait to style them.
