Today’s topic. Breakfast. Not any breakfast we are talking premium breakfast, brunch, delish drinks, fresh coffee, and… charcuterie boards? Yeah. Where can you get all this? Tulua Bistro.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I don’t want to wait until the weekend to catch the brunch wave. Let’s be honest a lot of the traditional breakfast spots are played out. Eating breakfast in the afternoon during the week is kind of not a thing these days. It’s lunch and go. Tulua Bistro has changed that for me forever.
Keep reading, a full review of this delicious and fabulous spot located in Jacksonville, Beach Florida.
Tulua Bistro Is More Than a Breakfast Spot, It’s a Vibe.
Tulua Bistro is a premium breakfast and lunch destination located in Jacksonville beach in a plaza at the corner of Third St S and Eight Ave S.
I’d been seeing reels and IG photos about this spot and have been wanting to go. Coincidentally a new friend and I decided on this spot for a quick meet and greet. We wanted brunch and this was the only “brunch” spot that we hadn’t ran into the ground around town that didn’t fall on the weekend.

Upon walking in, it was love at first site. The spot is cute, quaint, and minimally decorated. The front lobby has sofas, arm chairs, with quirky coffee mugs and cute home decor for sale on display. The art work on the walls is the real star of the show. Bold colors of portraits depicting MLK, Rupaul, and Ghandi are hand painted on the walls. When you plan on going here, be photo ready.
Service at Tulua Bistro? Second To None
Reading the reviews there were a few complaints about long wait times and service being slow. It was a Tuesday about 1:00pm, we didn’t have to wait because no one was there. However, As cute as this spot is, I can see there being a wait on weekends. This is an IT place. Neil was our server and not only was he FABULOUS he took amazing care of us. He was extremely charismatic and knowledgable about the menu.
You can tell he loves his job, and I love him for it.
Menu Options At Tulua Bistro
Tulua Bistro offers all day breakfast and lunch items. They have a huge menu that includes bowls, handhelds, bagels, Benedicts, and breakfast platters. You can get anything from lox to steak. And they offer vegetarian friendly options.

This is the go to for all your breakfast desires. Outside of food they offer a full bar, and feature Awake coffee. Honestly, this one spot has everything you need.
A Breakfast Charcuterie Board? Exscue Me?
With all that they offer Neil immediately recommended the bottomless mimosas and a breakfast board. A breakfast board!? Yes. You’ve heard of a charcuterie board? The breakfast board is that but an array of breakfast food. A foodie’s dream.

You have a choice of the chef’s pick in small, medium, or large. Or, you can build your own board for about $10 more in each size. I’m a little controlling when it comes to my food so we went with the build your own option.
What I ordered
Bottomless Mimosas
Pineapple juice with a sweet bubbly. Sooooo good. Almost too good I couldn’t stop drinking it. The cup was a good portion. We ended up drinking one and a half. We were allowed to take one home. Shhhh.
When you choose a build your own option you’re given a menu of everything thats available and how many of each is designated. Trust me it’s a lot. The medium is more than enough for 2-3 people it cost about $49. You get 3 Sides, 2 sweets, 2 meats, and 1 specialty item. A breakdown of each item…
3 Sides | Eggs, Hash Browns, Fruit
The eggs were scrambled perfectly and delicious. The fruit was sweet and fresh. It included strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, and grapes. The hash browns were Mcdonald’s style and seasoned with something that made them superb. I seriously couldn’t stop eating them.
2 Sweets | French Toast and Pancakes
The pancakes were buttery and already sweet they needed little syrup as they were already delicious. I haven’t had pancakes this good in a while. The french toast was different as well, i’m not sure how it’s prepared but they are crunchy and sweet. Hands down amazing if you ask me.
2 Meats | Bacon and Turkey Sausage
I don’t eat pork, my friend had our serving of bacon but judging at the fact she ate the whole side, it had to be good. The turkey sausage are links and great.
1 Specialty item | Crab Cakes
The crab cakes were on the smaller size but packed a punch of flavor. Neil brought us a Jacksonville made hot sauce, I can’t recall the name. However, it was a little spicy with a hint of sweet.
The presentation of the board was beautiful. When it was sat down at the table I was enticed. Everything was hot and fresh. Each portion was huge, even with two of us we still had left overs. Totally worth the price.
Wrapping Things Up: Tulua Bistro
Tulua Bistro is not only delicious it’s a hip place to eat. I will not only return to try different breakfast boards. I want to eat everything on the menu! If you’re in the Jacksonville area and looking for delish breakfast, this is a sure fire way to achieve that mission.
