I’m a firm believer in getting a bang for my buck when it comes to my personal style. Shopping smarter is key to developing a substainial wardrobe. Yes, it’s fun to blow it all at the mall on crazy trendy one time frocks (and I do still 🤣🥴) but it’s wiser to buy pieces that can be worn multiple ways without looking the same… ever.

Thus I’ve decided to start a Fall capsule wardrobe series.

📖 a capsule wardrobe is defined as a small collection of clothes that can be put together in different ways and includes everything one would normally need to wear.

With a capsule wardrobe, you never have to wonder ‘what to wear’ last minute because you will already have it with this method of fashion sense.

Here’s 6 pieces you should have in your wardrobe

1️⃣ basic white tee
2️⃣ basic black tee
3️⃣ fave pair of jeans
4️⃣ black trousers
5️⃣ striped cardigan
6️⃣ black all stars

I’ve been trying to switch up workouts to stay active and motivated. Because lets just keep it a buck, the gym can get repetitive and boring at times. Turns out outdoor walking is becoming a personal fave to change the scenery, especially with the cooler mornings and evenings.

With water, views, incline, art, and an outdoor gym (!?) @jaxriverwalk is one of Jax’s most gorgeous spots in town to make being active… sweet.

If you haven’t already, get some fresh air/ vitamin d and take advantage of this free gem the city has to offer. See you there?

Easy like Sunday morning. Coincidentally this spot came to mind when it came to my choice for a late Sunday breakfast with my kiddo. I love the fact they have a Kid’s menu with plenty of options, great for picky eaters.

The wait was short, the staff was amazing, and we left FULL without breaking the bank. *chefs kiss*

Here’s what I tried and my honest rating

🥞 Cinnamon Roll Pancake (Topped With Hot Cinnamon Roll Center, Icing, Walnuts and Powdered Sugar) - 9.5/10

🍳 Scrambled eggs - 7/10
🥓 Bacon - 9/10
👧🏾 Kids breakfast (grits, bacon, eggs, toast) 8/10
🍊fresh squeezed orange juice (this is the REAL deal) 9.5/10

I was heading to a nice dinner and painting with a twist afterward and I knew I wanted to wear this dress. But baby, there was no way I was going to be twirling in heels 😩. Instead I opted for a fave pair of worn looking sneakers and a mini crossbody bag. The draped classic denim jacket gives the look a little finesse, because you gotta drape it… right?
