1. Snakeskin Print
Snakeskin print is not only a fashionable shoe and clothing choice, it’s equally the same for your nails. This trend can be done year round, but for the sake of winter nail trends, go with a darker color such as deep green or brown. If dark isn’t your thing try whites, soft pinks, and nudes. You will most definitely have someone say ‘ooh let me see your nails!’

2. A Classic Bold Color
Let’s just say prints and designs aren’t your thing. This isn’t a problem. A solid bold color is timeless and classy. Red screams winter nails during the brisk months. Some other colors to try silver, black, burgundy, dark green, and electric blue.

3. Cable Knit Sweater Nails
Yes, the colder months warrant a warm sweater. However, you can also get a sweater design for your nails. Also referred to as a cable knit design. This effect is chic, cozy, and perfect for the winter season.

4. All That Glitters
All that glitters can be gold, or silver, even pink. Give glitter on your nails a try. A few trends i’m particularly fond of, ombre glitter and the classic french manicure but with a glittery hue. It gives winter wonderland and I’m here for it.

5. Abstract
Not only are abstract designs an ongoing trend during the warmer months, you better believe it’s totally acceptable for the winter nail trends category. A few personal favorites I love are grid and dalmatian prints mixed with a solid color.
